Hard Rock All-Inclusive Hotel in Punta Cana
We’ve all heard of the Hard Rock Café. Most of us envision memorabilia from various rock stars hung on the walls in their restaurants and the souvenirs you can purchase in their gift shops. Since their inception, Hard Rock has ventured out to include casinos in several different locales. Just recently, they’ve taken it one step further and opened their first all-inclusive hotel in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
This isn’t your typical Caribbean all-inclusive resort, it too has a casino. You won’t find the stereotype décor of palm trees and bright colors; instead, you’ll think you are actually in Las Vegas. It’s decorated in rich purples and reds, but true to the Hard Rock brand, you’ll still see rock star memorabilia like a car owned by Madonna and clothes worn by Jimi Hendrix.
The resort has 1,790 rooms each having a sunken Jacuzzi tub, and private balconies. There are 11 swimming pools including a pool for families with kids as well as different ones to choose from depending upon which type of music you’d like to hear ranging from Latin music to classic rock. You’ll be able to play mini-golf, basketball as well as rollerblade and skateboard. There are restaurants on land as well as those you can swim up to. The cuisine includes Mexican, Italian, Oriental and traditional.
The casino is one of the largest in the Caribbean, a large 45,000 sq ft. It’s has the usual slot machines and in addition, black jack and roulette tables. It even has a dedicated poker room. It has a sports book with 86 screens. There’s something for everyone. If gambling is not your thing, you’ll find shops of all kinds.
For those of you with kids or grandkids, the resort is definitely child friendly. There’s a space themed kid’s club where children ages 4-12 can do arts and crafts and play games on the Wii. There’s an arcade with all kinds of video games. These too are included in your price. Babysitting is even available so the parents can have some time for themselves.
All-inclusive hotels really are a bargain for you money. You pay for everything ahead of time. All you’ll need when you arrive is spending money if you choose to purchase souvenirs. You won’t get that shock at the end of your trip when you leave and have to return home.
